As the scheduler you will prepare four-week staffing ratios to ensure proper coverage is met for the current census, maintain monthly nursing schedules for the Nursing Services Department, respond to employees’ requests for time off, and maintain daily overtime logs. The scheduler will also communicate with Staff Development Coordinator and Clinical Unit Managers regarding schedule changes needed for training and in-services.
In addition, the candidate will need to be an active Certified Nursing Assistant with a current license in Virginia. You will assist our facility with resident care by providing direct care to the residents of the health and rehabilitation center, assisting them in Activities of Daily Living under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. Bathe, dress, and undress residents. Serve and collect food trays, and help residents who need assistance during meal times. You will also measure and record weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, as well as food and fluid intake and output as directed.
Seasoned Certified Nursing Assistant with experience in staffing ratios and scheduling preferred. Active Virginia CNA license.
